CHEST Foundation Aims to Raise Awareness of Lung Health

Patients often don’t realize they have a lung condition until the disease has advanced. They ignore some of the key symptoms — such as breathlessness or coughing — chalking them up to being out of shape or having a winter cough.

The CHEST Foundation aims to better educate people on the signs and symptoms of lung disease. This will allow patients to get diagnosed earlier and to empower them to manage their condition and live better lives.
